Glasgow based author Gail Honeyman's debut novel, Eleanor Oliphant Is Completely Fine is one of the most talked about books of this year.

Released May 18 with HarperCollins, it follows the heartwarming story of profoundly lonely Eleanor whose life changes after she and a colleague save an elderly gentleman who has fallen on the pavement. Compared to books ranging from RJ Palacio's Wonder to Ottessa Moshfegh's Eileen, it's had rave reviews - the Guardian described it as 'full of quiet warmth and deep and unspoken sadness' - and has already been snapped up by Reese Witherspoon's production company.
